As the Creative Director for Benchmark Real Estate in Portland, Maine I was responsible for all advertisements and promotional marketing for the brand. When Benchmark was re-branded in 2019, we wanted to incorporate a modern, impactful aesthetic that would both highlight our client’s properties as well as be completely distinctive from all the competition in the local real estate market. As an independent company, it was crucial that Benchmark stand out from the REMAX’s and the Keller Williams’s of the world, to have its own unique identity that showcased the city in an exciting way.
My main goal with the visual design of the Benchmark Real Estate advertising was to not only make it stand out from the competition, and therefore get more attention on the listings, but to also make the brand accessible to all Benchmark agents with clear, concise brand standards and easy to use template designs every agent could use to further their own business within the Benchmark umbrella.
Whether it was landing pages for specific marketing campaigns, listing brochures, or stickers and other promotional items, it is so important that a brand stay consistent on every platform, this insures brand recognition and in turn more leads for your business.
